    Snowing in Bansko

Finally it is snowing in Bansko! Christmas and New year have been as busy as ever but the snow has been terrible! With 4 lifts and 4 pistes open only the Brits and the hardcore have been skiing! Most of our other guests haven’t been skiing at all. If they’ve gone up the mountain at all it has been to drink coffee at Bunderitsa! The rest of the time they have been soaking in mineral spas, horse riding or shopping!

I don’t have much good to say about the management of the Bansko ski area but this year they have done a fantastic job. Everything has been against them, mild temperatures coupled with a lack of natural snow has proved an almost impossible challenge. BUT Ulen managed to get 4 slopes open and those 4 were in great condition! WELL DONE ULEN!
