Co-Living@AvalonBansko is a new and exclusive community project aimed at digital nomads and online teachers who love the mountains!

We have rooms to fit every budget, awesome living spaces, an awesome team, regular events and the Pirin mountains on our doorstep.

The team

We live here because we love here, skiing/boarding in the winter, hiking/biking in the summer. Hot springs, local food. Beautiful places, awesome people. Bansko has it all.

I moved to Bansko in 2003 to do a quick job, 18 years later I am still here because I love it. I want to share my passion for the mountains summer and winter with you. As a trained guide and chef I’m happy to take you on adventures in the mountains and in the kitchen. We’ll be doing cooking courses as much as climbing courses!!! All our team are from the village and share my passion for hospitality and the mountains!

The Town

Bansko is a small, ancient mountain town in south west Bulgaria. The town is nestled into the foot hills of the Pirin mountains. The youngest, spikiest mountains in the Balkans. Great for skiing, hiking, biking and climbing. Pirin is the perfect all mountain playground. Bansko is two towns in one, the old town is traditional cobbled streets and taverns playing folk music. The new town is a state of the art ski resort, bars, night clubs and a huge selection of international restaurants.
